To support the integration of refugee children in Leipzig, Selle Consult has been organizing and financing a sports project since the summer of 2016, in which girls and boys from different countries of origin found a sporting home twice a week in the sports hall of KFC Leipzig e.V.
In spring 2019, we were able to establish the course "Strong Girls - Strong Boys" as part of an all-day offer at Leipzig's August-Bebel elementary school. The school is located in the east of Leipzig in the Neustadt-Neuschönefeld district, which is characterized by a large social mix and a high proportion of families with a migration background. Our project is supported by extraordinarily committed teachers and enthusiastic exercise instructors who study at the University of Leipzig.
Through a personal contact of Ricky Selle, Selle Consult took over the sponsorship of Majengo Primary School in Mto wa Mbu, Tanzania, in fall 2018. With the first donation, the elementary school in the small town on the shores of Lake Manyara was able to have made on site much-needed tables and chairs made for the classrooms. Since then, we have also supported the expansion of sanitary facilities and the construction of another school building. The donations flow directly to the school through a local microfinance institution. Further investments are planned, in consultation with the principal, in order to support the children in Mto wa Mbu in the long term.

Selle Consult also regularly accompanies students from Leipzig in the preparation of their specialized theses. In this way we want to inspire young people, especially girls, for the engineering sciences. The technical papers have a strong focus to practice. During the work the students get an insight into the processes of a company in the free economy.
